This is a wonderful story, told in rhyme, by Elizabeth Cole. It’s about a boy named Nick who who falls the first time he tries his new skates. This is a great book with a positive message about perseverance. I really enjoyed that the author used more than one example of what perseverance looks like and that not everyone will be an absolute expert right away, or even after a year.
