I have found so much hope in these pages. Knowing I'm praying alongside others is really sweet and powerful reminder that I'm not alone. This is a book to keep out in your home and a book to give. We all parent in different ways and no matter how you fit that role, these prayers will be beneficial and nurturing to your soul. Kayla Craig offers a stunning book for parents - or really anyone who has relationships with children of any age! There are dozens of beautifully written prayers and pages of breath prayers for all kinds of situations, from special days to everyday moments, which can be read and prayed as-is (including a few simple prayers worded for kids!), but which may inspire your own words as well. Most of the prayers have some moment of outward focus, remembering those who might be struggling, who might not have the same resources, who might be oppressed or grieving or suffering. As I sit with these prayers and let Kayla’s words become my own, I ask God to let his heart become my heart, to care for those on the margins as much as he does. Beautiful book to have on your nightstand or to give as a gift.
